Wow it’s wet in the field

Despite the rain and wind, we’re hard at work transplanting new plugs Jenny started in March. This week we planted strawflower, giant marigolds, wild marjoram and more rudbeckia. The stock are starting to bloom despite the wind taking down the low tunnel on Tuesday evening so flowers are on their way!

Next up, planting the first sunflower field, getting dahlias in the ground and another round of succession planting for the annuals.
